Post-Doc and Magnetic Resonance Physicist at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt
I am Esaú, a researcher in the “Competence Center for Preclinical Imaging and Biomedical Engineering” and a teacher in the Master study program “MedTech – Functional Imaging, Conventional and Ion Radiotherapy”, both at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt.
Since 2015, I have been involved in the development of advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging techniques at high and ultra-high magnetic fields. Since 2021 my main research has focused on the implementation of multi-parametric MRI (mpMRI) to characterize the tumor micro-environment (TME), which provides potential insights into the distribution and evolution of intra-tumoral heterogeneity.
Within PAIR, my contribution to the PAIR project involves support and mentoring activities mainly in the field of magnetic resonance and preclinical research, such as conception, design, data analysis/interpretation and manuscripts review. Therefore, I am more closely involved with the PhD projects “Multiparametric MRI in pre-clinical research – medical physics aspects” and “Multiparametric MRI and radiomics approaches for in-vivo particle beam response assessment”.
