Head of Master’s program “Bio Data Science” at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt
I am Milica Krunic, a Head of master’s program “Bio Data Science” at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt, which means that my primary professional commitments involve education and training of students to become skilled bioinformaticians.
Since my research interest include applying bioinformatic methods in domains of personalized and precision medicine and biomedical research in general, the PAIR project provides a perfect environment for it. The greatest strength and uniqueness of the PAIR project is its interconnectivity, which amplifies potential for fulfilling our scientific goals.
My contribution to the project involves teaching activities mainly in the field of transcriptomics, and as a co-supervisor, to support data analysis part in two PhD projects: “Biological effects of particle beam therapy on pancreatic cancer” and “Harnessing particle radiation and small molecule inhibitors in pancreatic cancer”.
